"When
we started Frontline, we had
a dream to create an underwriting
entity that encompassed modern
technologies and old fashioned
values.
To this end, we have indeed
succeeded.
Our short term industry seems
to have forgotten the value
of having well experienced and
qualified people, relating to
their clients on a face to face
basis. Many of the traditional
underwriters seem to have turned
their backs on relationships
in pursuit of profits. |

Brokers
have become alienated and customers
frustrated. And in such an environment,
opportunities abound…
Our success lies in our ability
to foster meaningful relationships,
be they with brokers, principals,
partners, staff and most importantly,
with the South African communities
who need us most”.
By concentrating on getting
the basics right, we have managed
to carve out a very exciting
niche in the South African market.
And it is only really the beginning!
Despite our incredible successes
to date, we feel that we are
very much in the foundation
stage of our business.
We remain focused on the long
term goals that we have for
this burgeoning underwriting
agency we call “Frontline”.
Our business philosophy centres
on giving a percentage of our
profits away, without fail,
every month. In return this
strategy pays off by motivating
us and our staff.
We launched a separate charity
company called the Paw Paw Foundation
which disburses company profits
to needy charities on a monthly
basis. We don’t do charity work
for the tax implications; it
has to be about heart. We do
it because it feels right and
because we feel we have a role
to play in rebuilding the country.
And
it does have rewards, the feel
good factor, helping people
in genuine, dire need gives
us the positive energy we need
to overcome any challenges and
look for the right solutions
in our business. It also attracts
to us the best skill because
good people want to work in
a giving environment and our
clients are a group of well
established and very sensible
brokers who like our energy
and the service we deliver.
We strongly believe that this
positive business model, along
with investment in top of the
range administrative systems
and our strong partnerships,
is the reason our business has
grown by significant margins/strides
since launching eight years
ago.
2010
holds a stash of initiatives
to continue to develop and maintain
the standards, ethos and ethic
of the wonderful enterprise
we call the “Frontline Family”. |
